Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners
Supplier Code of Conduct · NODU GmbH · Version 1.0 · June 2026
Responsible and lawful conduct is the basis of our business relationships. This Code sets the minimum standards expected from all suppliers, service providers, distributors and other business partners of NODU GmbH, including their relevant subcontractors.
1. Legal compliance and integrity
Business partners comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Corruption, bribery, extortion, embezzlement, money laundering, facilitation payments and other improper advantages are prohibited. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed without delay.
2. Human and labour rights
Business partners respect internationally recognised human rights. Child labour, forced or compulsory labour, modern slavery, discrimination, harassment and inhumane treatment are prohibited. Employees must receive lawful remuneration, reasonable working hours, safe conditions and the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining where permitted by law.
3. Occupational health and safety
Business partners identify workplace risks, provide appropriate protective measures and training, and maintain effective procedures for preventing accidents and occupational illness.
4. Environment and climate
Applicable environmental laws must be observed. Resources, water and energy should be used efficiently; emissions, waste and hazardous substances must be managed responsibly. Business partners should continuously improve their environmental performance and support traceable, sustainable supply chains.
5. Product safety and quality
Products and services supplied to NODU GmbH must meet agreed specifications and all applicable quality, safety, hygiene, labelling and regulatory requirements. Relevant documentation must be accurate and retained as required.
6. Fair competition, confidentiality and data protection
Business partners comply with competition and antitrust rules, protect confidential information and intellectual property, and process personal data only lawfully and securely.
7. Supply-chain responsibility
Business partners take reasonable steps to communicate these principles to their own suppliers and to identify, prevent and mitigate material human-rights and environmental risks in their supply chains.
8. Reporting, verification and consequences
Suspected violations may be reported confidentially through the NODU Whistleblower System. NODU GmbH may request evidence of compliance and, where proportionate, conduct or commission audits. Business partners must cooperate and implement corrective measures. Serious or repeated violations may lead to suspension or termination of the business relationship and further legal action.
By entering into or continuing a business relationship with NODU GmbH, the business partner acknowledges these principles.
